As a central component of the global Member’s Week activation, adidas tasked Exposure to bring the CONFIRMED app—the brand’s members-only destination for its hottest drops—IRL for the first time.

For the occasion, we took over an industrial space on the Bowery. The location, kept secret, was teased through a cryptic, buzz-building social campaign before being revealed as the site of a multi-sensorial pop-up. The installation explored the tension between human interaction and the app’s code-based world through surveillance cameras, interactive projections, and digital glitches.

An opening party for influential VIPs created the conversation and social visibility to keep the space active for the duration of the takeover. Inside, guests were prompted to become a member of the CONFIRMED app with a chance to unlock every drop for one month.
